Great list! You know what song I abhor? "Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin. Jaysus, that song can go fuck itself. I do like "What's Up," I think it's smart, but I sure do understand the animus there. Did you ever see the South Park episode where any time Cartman hear's "Come Sail Away" he has to sing the whole song? So damn funny. That's the type of song that would wake someone up from a coma screaming "TURN THIS SHIT OFF!" There is a GREAT t-shirt out on the internet somewhere that says "I'd rather be listening to 'Smooth' by Rob Thomas and Carlos Santana"- the irony is fantastic. i would rather have my toenails pulled out by an angry Turkish prison gaurd with rusty pliers than have to suffer through that POS song ever again. Fuck Jimmy Buffet. Props for always being himself, and more than a decent songwriter, but I can't stand him. The only thing worse than Jimmy Burfet are Jimmy Buffet fans. I'll bookend this diatribe with another song I despise, "How Soon Is Now?" by The Smiths. Jaysus, that song makes me want to jam a crochet needle into my ear.
