Greetings! Good read. Hmm, there is that argument to be made (and I am sure someone will make it) about “emotional cheating.” I’m not that guy. I understand the argument, but I’ve always had a different approach. Is your relationship with this guy any different than that of a “work spouse”? I know for me, when I was in an office, there was usually one person who I had that kind of tension with and with whom I revealed a different side than my significant other may have seen.

I dunno, this shit is complicated. I think trying to ascribe some sort of societal “norm” to the way you choose to live your life is a fool's errand.

I like to think if I can go to bed at night knowing I didn’t DELIBERATELY hurt anyone I care about or love, well then that’s a success. And everyone has secrets…and that’s okay. Well, it’s okay for me and may help explain why I am single. ;)
