I dunno. live shows may be back, but I might argue the halcyon days are behind us (for the foreseeable future) and with them, live recording. But also, are albums relevant anymore? Outside of hardcore fans, I might argue the album as a whole and its impact on pop culture has greatly diminished and will continue to do so. Conspicuously absent here are two benchmark live albums - Lou Reed’s Rock n’ Roll Animal (saved his career too, listen and you’ll know why) and Nirvana’s Unplugged. Great read! Cheers!
