Nice piece! To be clear, a nice piece of writing. As a single male, I can tell you that I related to a lot of this. The whole problem with all of this nonsense the seeming stigma’s attached to being single. To always be the person at the party that is single. I’ve learned to be fine with it. Am I? I dunno. It’s like the quote from High Fidelity — “ Did I listen to the music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to the music?” Am I fine with it because I’ve learned to accept it or am I fine with it because I genuinely don’t give a fluck. That said, I do the app thing in fits and starts…and I hate every damn minute of it…
